Meet the team - Committees

Justice, Intergovernmental and Aboriginal Affairs

This committee has a broad mandate, aimed at ensuring fairness and justice for all.

It believes that Ontarians deserve to feel safe and be safe. That means being tough on crime and tough on the causes of crime, while providing justice for all.

Committee members will also play an important role ensuring that Ontarians have fair access to services provided by the federal government. Members will help build on the progress government has already made with municipalities.

Fairness for all also means building a stronger, more positive relationship with Ontario's First Nations. This committee will help guide the government's efforts to improve quality of life and expand economic opportunities for all Aboriginal peoples.
