Vic Dhillon - Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister Responsible for Seniors

Vic Dhillon was elected to the Ontario legislature in 2003 and re-elected in 2007. He has served as Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Government Services. Prior to his election, he served for more than nine years as the executive assistant to Colleen Beaumier, MP for Brampton West-Mississauga.

An active member of his community, Dhillon also helped establish a family-owned business in Mississauga. He has taken a leading role in many non-profit fundraising campaigns, such as initiating drives for the Food Bank in Brampton, the Knight’s Table, the Korean War Memorial and leading a local group that collected much-needed supplies for the devastating ice storm in eastern Ontario, the tsunami in Asia and the earthquake in Pakistan.

Dhillon has lived in Brampton for most of his life. He holds a BAdmin from Lakehead University and is married to Shaminder. They have two sons, Robin and Sajjan, and a daughter named Taj.
