The holiday season is a wonderful, magical time of year.

It’s a time to reconnect with the most important people in your life, your family and your friends.

Terri and I look forward to having the kids at home … and to all the noise … the excitement … and the energy that they bring into our lives.

Most of all, we just look forward to being together.

I hope that you’re fortunate enough this holiday to be with those you care about the most.

You know, we’re all blessed to have a home like Ontario. This really is the best province in the most wonderful country in the world.

And what makes Ontario such a great place is our people.

We have made of Ontario a home … that is respectful of our differences … a home that is open, caring and generous.

And Ontarians are great at working together. We are hardworking, resourceful and determined to build a better future for our children.

And we understand that we are at our very best when we work, build and dream together.

So, as we enjoy this holiday season, let's reach out to those who are less fortunate.

And lets also take a moment to think of those Canadians in Afghanistan, of whom we are so proud.

They won’t be home for the holidays, and we offer them and their families our very best wishes.
